Y Felinheli Health Centre
The provision of the new Y Felinheli Primary Care Facility is one of a number of enabling measures to improve the delivery of primary and community health and social care services to the people in the Gwynedd LHB area.The This new development will meet the needs of the operational services that the Gwynedd LHB and its partners wish to see provided from the new Y Felinheli Primary Care Centre over the foreseeable future. The new facility will be developed as a local community resource for health needs for the population of Y Felinheli.

TY Felinheli Primary Care Facility overlooks the Menai Straits between Anglesey and the Main land. Patients are afforded this view through the glazed curved waiting area.
The choice of materials for the external elevations were carefully chosen to enable the large building to blend into the existing landscape when viewed from Anglesey, and consists of slate roofing, natural slate walling, White Render and Cedar Boarding.
The building has an efficient underfloor heating system, using bore holes , and several solar panels on the roof provide hot water, and there is energy efficient lighting throughout.
