Bangor Gym
Normal College Gymnasium is a Grade II Listed conversion of the former Gwynedd Technical College, Art & Design Section circa. 1910 1910.
Probably by H T Hare, Architect of the neighbouring hostels in Edwardian Arts and Crafts style which had also up until recently been utilised as a Radio and TV studio for Bangor University.

The scheme involved a complete refurbishment and restoration of the building which had not had any significant works undertaken in the last 20 years.
A number of later internal partitions were removed to open up the original gymnasium spaces and a new reception / access corridor and accessible entrance was incorporated into the project. False ceilings were removed to expose the original roof structure which was insulated and re-slated with the inclusion of large Rooflight Company Studio style rooflights to light some of the inner rooms.
The building now has open plan office spaces that are well lit and a pleasant working environment.
