Trefalyn
This was a new single dwelling on an infill plot site adjacent to Eglws Santes Helen, Penisaurwaen.
The design incorporated maximum day lighting throughout the dwelling maximising views of Snowdonia. The main structure was a timber frame, with masonry and cedar exterior. The energy system incorporates Ground Source Heating coupled with Solar Hot Water and under floor heating, other sustainable features include a Rainwater Harvesting System to minimise water consumption.
Works were started in August 2008 and completed in September 2009.
